It seems I always get myself into the same mess – I uproot everything at once and am simultaneously moving, adjusting to switching teams or jobs, and often dealing with something else (family or relationship issues) on top of it all. In some ways I thrive under the pressure, but I also often feel like I’m THIS CLOSE to my breaking point. I’m glad you found a solution and made it through the worst! Good luck with the stuff that’s left to figure out!!

Ah, we are friends and former roomies for a reason–I’m going through the exact same thing!! My husband and I tried coming up with personal and “married” goals for 2012, and I found it to be a lot harder than it usually is! The feeling of an aimless life at this age is what I call the “quarter life crisis”…since so many of us are going through it at this point in life, I say it’s relatively normal. :]

And I’m snagging your Reflection (well, the questions anyway) because I need some Direction too!!

I love these questions – I’m totally borrowing this for my blog I am always inspired by your posts like this (birthday, new year). Good luck figuring things out! I’m glad you made the leap (or several) this year, and I’m sure that taking these risks will help you find something that is just right for you, even if you don’t know for sure what that is yet.

God I couldn’t even imagine setting life goals at this point! (though maybe I should!)

I still have my bucket list… but it’s not really helpful! Perhaps it’s my minimalist philosophy that’s preventing me from coming up with 101 goals? Or maybe it’s something else. Who knows! One of the major things I’ve realized is that all I have on my list this year are experiences. I don’t think that’s a bad place to start! Hopefully I can come up with the last 60-ish goals I need…The Etsy Shopping Pages are all linked to from http://etsy.com/buy (fashion, home & garden, kids, holidays). They’re put together by the merchandizing team a few times a week (hopefully daily as time goes on!)
